I have been using Freshbooks since 2010 to bill the majority of my private patients. To test it out, you can start with a FREE account that allows you to bill up to 3 people. If your caseload is larger than that (up to 25) you pay only $19.95/month.

You Can Easily:
- Create an invoice in seconds
- E-mail, print or snail mail invoices to your patients
- Keep records of treatment sessions (dates and price) for tax purposes
- Track payment
For this patient in particular, I send invoices monthly via e-mail. He then initiates a payment through his banking app. I cash it and record the income. I have been using this method of payment with him for a couple of years and it is quite easy for both of us.
